Environmental policy

The translation business is one of the world’s least polluting industries.

In translation, we require nothing more than a computer, telephone and an internet connection. We print very few documents, as proofreading and revision are done on-screen.

Most of our translators work from home and do not require transportation. We use local interpreters, thereby keeping our carbon footprint low.

• We promote the efficient use of materials and resources, including water, electricity, and other resources, and highlight the importance of conserving non-renewable resources.
• Translations are received and delivered by email.
• Our staff ensures that any office paper or newspaper waste goes to recycling.
• We encourage our customers to settle invoices through online banking to reduce excessive vehicle usage, i.e. cheque collection.
