Tamarind Language Services at the Chris Seex Memorial Trophy

In October 2022, the Chris Seex Memorial Trophy Golf Competition was held at the picturesque Baobab PGA Course at Vipingo Ridge on the Kenyan coast.

Tamarind Language Services was one of the sponsors of this event to celebrate 50 years since the Tamarind Restaurant was opened in Mombasa in 1972 by Chris and Britt Seex. The company has since grown into a chain of outlets including the well-known Carnivore, Tamarind Tree Hotel in Nairobi, Tamarind Brasserie in Karen, the two Arab Sailing Dhows, the Tamarind Village Residences and the Golden Key Casino in Mombasa as well as the recent addition of “Roast by Carnivore” outlets.

Leading golfers in Kenya participated at the daylong event that culminated in a colourful prize giving ceremony held at the Vipingo Ridge Sundowner Restaurant.

All proceeds from the competition went to the Mombasa branch of the Kenya Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (KSPCA).

Tamarind Language Services is proud to be associated with the Tamarind Group as they celebrate 50 Years in Kenya as well as support this worthy cause.
