During a recent visit to Mikaoni, we noticed that Saul, a five-year old pupil, had sustained an eye injury. A tiny piece of wood got stuck in his eye when he was playing in the school playground.

As his parents struggled to meet the medical costs, our company supported Saul’s treatment at the Lions Eye Hospital, Nyali, Mombasa. Saul has received expert care and medication and has been to regular reviews. We are happy that he is progressing well, and the eyesight of his injured eye will be restored to normal.
