Tamarind Translations at the Devolution conference

In March, Tamarind Translations participated in the 6th Annual Devolution Conference in Kirinyaga, central Kenya. Organised by the Council of Governors and the 47 county governments, this annual event showcases county achievements since the inception of devolution in Kenya in 2010.

The 7th African Fiscal Forum

In February 2019, the 7th African Fiscal forum took place in Nairobi. It is an annual event that brings together senior officials from finance ministries across Sub-Saharan Africa to discuss fiscal challenges facing the region.

The languages of the world are estimated to be between 6000 and 7000. Yet, due to liberal global economy, emigration and improved communication networks, the linguistic repertoire of the world is increasingly dwindling. Sadly, when languages fade, the world’s rich mosaic of cultural diversity is not spared.
