Africa Free Continental Trade Area Launch

The successful launch of Africa Free Continental Trade Area (AfCFTA) took place on the 5th of March at Radisson Blu, Nairobi. This positions East Africa to earn US$ 1.8 billion in welfare gains and benefit from 2 million jobs. AfCFTA becomes operational in July this year.

Switch Africa Green Forum – Kampala, Uganda

Tamarind Language Services was part of the SWITCH Africa Green forum that took place in Kampala, Uganda in February 2020. The forum brought together over 300 stakeholders from partner countries including Policy-makers, Business associations, Private sector firms, Financial institutions, Academia, International development and Civil society organizations, UN agencies and SMEs from several countries involved in promoting an inclusive green economy.
